Abstract
This article examines the significance of the Decree on Ecumenism, and of the Second Vatican Council of which it was a key component; it expounds upon the transformed relationships between the Catholic Church and the Churches of the East and of the Reformation arguing that this in turn has changed irrevocably, and for the better, the way millions of Christians around the world view one another and interact with each other.
