Abstract
The scholarly writings of Eric Osborns work, over several decades, show a remarkable ability to span the New Testament and Patristics. The bridge between them is the theology of the New Testament writers Paul, John, the Synoptics and its interpretation in those crucial centuries following the events of Easter.
