Abstract
This paper explores the enormous differences between the context of emergent Christianity and the Australian Aboriginal context to which European missionaries came, and asks how well (or badly) the Church responded to this dissonance. Have Aboriginal Christians been able to shape their own indigenous Christianity? What would it look like?
